Poetry on words - बातों पर शायरी

 

बातों की मिठास तो हर कोई बेच देता है,

जो दिल से निभा दे वही रिश्ता सच्चा होता है।

कहने को तो बस दो ही लफ़्ज़ चाहिए होते हैं,
पर किसी का दिल जीतने में उम्र निकल जाती है।

बातों में वज़न होना ज़रूरी है साहब,
सिर्फ़ आवाज़ ऊँची करने से इज़्ज़त नहीं बढ़ती।

किसी की बातों से दिल ना तोड़ो,
हर कोई कह नहीं पाता… पर बहुत कुछ सहता है।

बातों से दिलों में उतर जाया करते हैं लोग,
चेहरे तो बस पहचान के लिए होते हैं।

कुछ बातें हम कह नहीं पाते,
बस महसूस होती रहती हैं… दिल के आस-पास।

बातों से जख्म देना आसान है,
शब्दों में दवा रखना सीखो।

सुना है बातों में तेरे बड़ा असर है,
तभी तो तेरी चुप्पी मुझे मार जाती है।

कुछ लोग बातें कम पर असरदार करते हैं,
और कुछ लोग बातें ज़्यादा पर बेअसर करते हैं।

शब्दों का इस्तेमाल सोच समझकर किया करो,
कल को वही वापस लौट आते हैं।

तेरी बातों का असर कुछ यूं हो गया,
दिल मेरा था… और कब्ज़ा तेरा हो गया।

बातें मीठी हों तो दिल जीत लेती हैं,
वरना ज़बान तो जानवरों के भी होती है।

कुछ बातें ऐसी होती हैं,
जो कही नहीं जाती… बस समझी जाती हैं।

तुम्हारी बातें तुम्हारे होने का अहसास कराती हैं,
वरना दूरी तो तुमसे बहुत है।

बिना बोले भी जो सब कह जाए,
वो दिल होता है दोस्त… ज़ुबान नहीं।

पहले लोग बातें दिल से किया करते थे,
अब तो दिलों की नहीं… स्क्रीन की दूरी रह गई है।

तुम्हारी बातें बारिश जैसी लगती हैं,
कम हों तो भी ताज़गी दे जाती हैं।

बातें अगर दिल से निकले… तो दिल तक जाती हैं,
वरना कान से अंदर और बाहर हो जाती हैं।

ज़ुबान तो सबके पास होती है,
फर्क सिर्फ़ इतना है कि कोई दुआ देता है और कोई बद्दुआ।

कुछ बातें सच होती हैं,
पर हर सच्चाई कह देना अच्छा नहीं होता।

Use words wisely,

They come back tomorrow.

Your words had such an impact,

The heart was mine... and it became yours.

If words are sweet, they win the heart,

Otherwise, even animals have tongues.

There are some things,

that cannot be said... they are only understood.

Your words make me feel your presence,

Otherwise, I am far away from you.

What can say everything without speaking,

is the heart, friend... not the tongue.

Earlier, people used to talk from the heart,

Now, there is no distance between hearts... but the distance between screens.

Your words feel like rain,

Even if they are few, they refresh.

If words come from the heart... they reach the heart,

Otherwise, they go in and out through the ears.

Everyone has a tongue,

The only difference is that some give blessings and some curse.

Some things are true,

But it is not good to tell every truth.
